Humanist Thought of the Week: 11 04 2008

Today is Election Day in America.

One of my favorite days of the year.

I love casting my ballot.

I love going to my local polling location and seeing all my neighbors participate in our democracy.

It feels good to vote.

True, it takes a little work to research amendments and figure out who you want to vote for, but in the end, it is worth it.

Taking the time to vote means you are an active and engaged responsible citizen.

And that always feels good.

So if you haven’t already – go out and vote.
