Opening Up to Love
Perhaps the hardest part of love is allowing yourself to be loved.
It is fairly easy to love someone else.
Being in love doesn’t actually require the participation of the other person.
But being loved does.
It requires us to make ourselves available to the people who love us and to respect their feelings.
That is easier said then done.
But, the only way to do it is to do it.
Get your ego out of the way and allow expressions of love to envelope you.
As the old song says, “The greatest thing you’ll ever learn is just to love and be loved in return.”
