Sumogirl’s Humanist Thought of the
Week: Aug 7 2007
We should not be ashamed to pursue
We just need to be aware that there is a difference between seeking pleasure and pursuing happiness
There is nothing wrong with occasionally indulging in simple pleasures, just remember that pleasures are shallow and temporary.
Happiness, on the other hand, is more satisfying and long lasting.
If you want to be truly happy, do not
confuse pleasure with happiness.
In all things moderation.
Do not allow your pleasure seeking to interfere
with your pursuit of happiness.
